The Thermo Orbitrap Ascend Tribrid is a high-resolution mass spectrometer that is capable of operating over an extended mass range of m/z 40 - 16,000 and is coupled with a Vanquish Neo UHPLC system to perform LC-MS analysis.  The instrument is capable of up to 480,000 FWHM mass resolving power (at m/z 200), a < 1 ppm mass error, and offers sensitivities on the order of femtograms.  The detector also allows for a large dynamic range of up to >5,000, with the instrument electronics capable of high scan rates and polarity switching.
