Igor Grigoriev Seminar

Igor Grigoriev, Ph.D, the Fungal Genomics Program Lead at the DOE Joint Genome Institute, visited the University of California, Santa Barbara to give a seminar on JGI Fungal and Algal Multi-omics resources. With over twenty-five students, faculty and others in attendance, Igor Grigoriev delved into JGI's efforts and their aim to deepen our understanding of fungal and algal biology, ecology, and adaptation, driving innovation in the bioeconomy and opening new scientific frontiers.
