Dr. Mills earned their B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara and their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, followed by postdoctoral training at Northwestern University. The Mills lab engineers and studies protein assemblies and materials to create accessible, bioengineered solutions in spaces like plastic waste degradation and oral vaccine delivery.
