Dr. Sachs holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Iowa and a PhD in Integrative Biology from the University of Texas.
The Sachs Lab tests fundamental theory about the evolution, ecology, and mechanistic bases of plant-bacterial mutualism using a combination of field, experimental, cytological, in vitro, and genomic approaches.
